SK Most will erect 46 bridges on the Adler – Krasnaya Polyana route. A 630 m long traffic bridge and 600 m long railway bridge near Akhshatyr’ settlement in Adler District will be commissioned first.

The bridge builders are currently installing the deck sections. In total, 3,200 t of metal structures will be assembled.

“Construction of the railway bridge is highly specific, as we have to install bearings under the pre-erected decks,” says Evgeny Yakovlev, Production Manager, STROY-TREST (SK MOST Group). “This causes some difficulties with engaging our contractors’ engineering resources.”

The two bridges in Akhshatyr’ are the first STROY-TREST projects on the km 14 – 46 section of the combined (rail and traffic) road from Adler to the mountain resort Alpika-Service. Similar work is being carried out by another contractor on the adjoining section.

Once installation of the deck sections is completed, the next phase – construction of the bridge platforms – will start.
